There is certainly a lot to do in Edinburgh and the trouble is knowing where you should start. The zoo is situation in Murrayfield along Corstorphine road and is easy to access and find.

Many people are often suspicious of the types of animals available to view at the zoo but fear not there is plenty of choice. For instance the zoo has the following animals on offer; Lions, Monkeys, Leopards, Chimpanzees, Zebras, Rhinos, Jaguars, Wolves, Sea Lions, Koalas, Penguins, Camels and even Armadillos. Unfortunately there are no longer any Elephants, Polar Bears or Giraffes at Edinburgh zoo however you will not be disappointment with all the other captivating creatures available.

Be careful of the weather when visiting Edinburgh zoo as you want to be practical. Most of the ‘must see’ areas are outdoors therefore make sure you are warm enough to walk around and enjoy it. Do not wear your Sundays best but be comfortable and relax whilst watching the many different animals available. There is also a range of refreshments on offer and do not forget to visit the gift shop on the way out to get a great memento of your visit.
